Companion animal breeding lacks a widely available public mechanism for independently verifying certification claims.
ElitePetz maintains a permanent public registry of certification records and status histories. Each certification is assigned a unique identifier, and status changes remain publicly visible as part of the record.
We are a private certification body operating within the companion animal breeding sector.
Our role is to administer certifications under a published standards framework, maintain certification records, and provide public verification of certification status.
We are independent of breeders, breed clubs, kennel clubs, government licensing agencies, and commercial marketplaces. We do not regulate breeding activities, provide veterinary advice, or participate in the sale of animals.
Our objective is to promote transparency, consistency, and public confidence through standards-based certification and accessible public records.

The Founding Certified Breeders program is limited to fifteen certifications issued during the Authority's inaugural period. Participation is publicly recognized, but all certifications remain subject to the same standards, monitoring, and governance requirements. Once filled, the cohort permanently closes.
The Independent Advisory Panel provides non-binding guidance on matters relating to certification, governance, transparency, animal welfare, and public confidence. Panel members do not participate in individual certification decisions.
Certification should be considered within the context of the Authority's defined mandate and limitations. Certain activities and responsibilities remain outside the scope of certification.
