The Founding Certified Breeders are the first entities to complete the ElitePetz Certification process under the Certification Standards Framework.
These entities were among the first certified by the Authority and are permanently recognized as members of the founding cohort.
Founding designation recognizes participation during the Authority's inaugural certification period. It does not create different certification standards, additional privileges, or exemption from enforcement actions.
All Founding Certified Breeders are subject to the same standards, compliance obligations, and enforcement framework as all other certified entities.

Founding designation remains part of the historical record. Certification status remains subject to renewal, review, suspension, revocation, expiration, or other status changes under applicable policies.
Every Founding Certified Breeder is represented by an individual Registry record that documents certification status, key dates, and other public certification information.

Cohort snapshot as of June 2026. Once a founding position is filled, the cohort total updates accordingly. Founding designation remains part of the historical record even if a certification later expires, is suspended, or is revoked.
Founding designation is available only to entities certified during the Authority's inaugural certification cohort.
Once filled, the founding cohort permanently closes. Subsequent applicants receive standard certification under the same Standards Framework but are not designated as founding participants.
